The Chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Irepo and Oorelope Local Government Areas, Hon. Kazeem Adekunle Olawoyin and Alhaji Oyelowo Safariyu Oyetunji, have expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for approving the reconstruction of the 30-kilometre Igboho–Kisi Road.
Speaking on behalf of party members and residents of the two local governments, the chairmen described the governor’s approval as a significant development that will greatly enhance socio-economic activities across Oke Ogun.
Hon. Olawoyin noted that the Igboho–Kisi Road is not only vital to Irepo and Oorelope Local Governments but also serves as a major link for communities within the Oke Ogun axis, facilitating trade, agriculture, and inter-community movement.
In the same vein, Alhaji Oyetunji commended Governor Makinde’s continuous commitment to infrastructure development across the state, saying the approval reflects his inclusive governance and dedication to improving the quality of life of the people.
Both leaders also extended appreciation to the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Bayo Lawal, for his relentless efforts in ensuring that the long-awaited reconstruction of the road becomes a reality.
They reaffirmed their support and that of their constituents for the Makinde-led administration, pledging continued collaboration towards the progress and development of Oke Ogun and Oyo State as a whole.
