The National Spokesman of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, says he fears that the 2027 general elections may not hold. Abdullahi attributed his fears to certain endemic factors from both the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the All Progressives Congress, APC-led government. The Federal High Court in Abuja has affirmed Senator David Mark as the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), dismissing a suit filed by Representative Leke Abejide challenging the party’s leadership. The Oyo State Government has commended the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), both at the national and state levels, for reopening schools in Oyo State.
