It cannot be said that he is perfection itself,but we owe it to him that his noteworthy achievements be recognised. While beneficiaries and the general populace cannot deny the laudable strides that Adamawa state has made under his watch,it is disheartening that some are hypocritical and criminally silent sitting on the fence.
The reason for this is not lost to close observers that are witnesses to what transpired a little over two years ago when the loyalty of some party members was put to test during the ‘wujja wujja’ over the soul of Adamawa state.
Therefore in a moment like this ,as we transit into another round of political alignments, the dogs of political betrayal due to selfish interest are surfacing. As the tide gathers momentum ,many will be exposed. Those that have made it a mark of their trade to stab their benefactors in the back will soon be unveiled as their secret masters are exposed.
While there is no intention to leave anyone behind,those incapable of joining the bandwagon will miss out due their misguided actions and their inability to move with the trend.
They can grumble and connive with enemies that they served during the 2023 general elections when their acts were overlooked and they were left unscathed. They should however bear in mind that this is the Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri that against all odds became governor of Adamawa the first and second time. He is the come- back kid that was Speaker,Acting Governor,who against all odds became governor twice.
We went through this together and as his PSA cannot fail to notice what is going on.
Those who have decided to play “wise and not being clever” had better watch out because their actions are the harbingers of their political demise and their final slip into political oblivion. The Adamawa of today is not the Adamawa of ten years ago,the level of awareness by far exceeds what obtained in the past. The era of mental slavery and manipulation has seriously diminished and a new generation is saying no to long nourished ideas superiority by those that think that they have sway over the thoughts and actons of the people of Adamawa state and the nation at large.
The change in the political orientation in the country is such that no one can stop. The wind of change fast blowing will leave nothing of the past untouched. Those who hesitate,waiting for their tin-gods in whom they trust will be left behind.
The time to be steadfast is now. Opportunist that hang out against the tide of events ranting or grumbling without making their position clear will hold themselves responsible for their woes. Heaven has no place for such people,and even hell will not accommodate such despicable characters.
Once again, While His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri will leave no one behind and nothing untouched, I will leave no chance to anyone who will direct mischief this way.
