Geneva, Switzerland – Hon. Adedeji Stanley Dhikrullahi Olajide, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Digital, Information, Communication Technology, and Cybersecurity, has joined global leaders at the 12th Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) in Geneva, Switzerland. The event is organized by the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP) to foster international collaboration on global stability and harmony.
According to his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Tolu Mustapha, the session brings together parliamentarians from across the world to develop strategies for promoting tolerance and peace.
The GCTP, a global organization committed to achieving sustainable peace, convenes its parliamentary arm, the IPTP, quarterly to deliberate on pressing international challenges, provide recommendations, and strengthen diplomatic cooperation.
At the conference, Hon. Olajide, a leading voice in shaping Nigeria’s digital policy landscape, is expected to highlight the country’s legislative advancements in cybersecurity, digital regulations, and public-private partnerships aimed at securing critical digital infrastructure.
He will also engage in high-level panel discussions and bilateral meetings, exploring global solutions to cyber threats, digital misinformation, digital peacebuilding, and cybersecurity. His participation will reinforce Nigeria’s commitment to parliamentary diplomacy and international cooperation in alignment with the goals of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace.
