Unity Mega Rally: Hon. Stanley Olajide Odidiomo Deploys 90 Buses, Flood Media for PDP/APM Grand Alliance in Ibadan
Ahead of the much anticipated Ibadan 2026 unity mega rally and grand alliance between the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM), frontline politician and member representing Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West federal constituency of Oyo state in the House of Representatives, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide, has commenced a massive grassroots mobilization across Oyo south senatorial district of the state.
The rally, scheduled to hold tomorrow, Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the historic Mapo Hall, Ibadan, is expected to attract thousands of party faithfuls, political stakeholders, supporters, market groups, artisans, youths and residents from different parts of the state.
According to the Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs to the federal lawmaker, Tolu Mustapha, mobilization efforts have intensified across the nine local government areas in Oyo south senatorial district, with co-ordinator’s and support groups moving aggressively from one community to another mobilizing residents for the event.
Mustapha disclosed that radio and television jingles have since flooded major broadcast stations within Ibadan and its environs, while billboards, branded campaign materials and awareness messages have equally been strategically positioned across key locations within the metropolis.
He added that market storming exercises and grassroots sensitization campaigns have also been ongoing across major markets and communities in the district as part of efforts to ensure massive participation at the rally.
According to him, no fewer than 10 buses have been placed on standby in each of the nine local government areas within Oyo south senatorial district to convey party members, supporters and residents to the rally venue.
“The mobilization is massive and unprecedented. We are witnessing growing enthusiasm from the grassroots. Across the nine local governments in Oyo south, co-ordinators have been working tirelessly day and night to ensure massive attendance at the Unity Mega Rally,” Mustapha stated.
The media aide added that the rally would also serve as a convergence point for stakeholders committed to sustaining developmental governance, grassroots participation and strategic political collaboration ahead of the 2027 general election.
