Oyo Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, hosted a group of prominent Muslim leaders, including the Chief Imam of Ogbomosoland, Sheikh Yunus Toliat, to iftar at his Bashorun home in Ibadan on Tuesday.
Among the guests were Alhaji Afolabi Daud, PAG group led by Alhaji Agboluaje, Iba Oluyole, Alhaji Illias Adewola, Alhaji Abass Ajao, Imam Rauf Jelili, Hon. Dauda Adam, Alhaji Kunle Sani, and Alhaji Lateef Animasaun.
In a brief remark, the Deputy Governor commended the guests for joining him for iftar, and prayed for Governor Seyi Makinde’s good leadership and peace in Oyo state.
The Chief Imam and other guests however appreciated the Deputy Governor’s hospitality and prayed for his success.
