Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, has extended congratulations to Compol. Fatai Owoseni, Governor Seyi Makinde’s special adviser on security matters, following his installation as the Alatunse-Ilu Adinni of Oyo State.
Owoseni was installed on Saturday by the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdul-Ganiyu Agbotomokekete, at the Oja Oba central mosque.
The event saw a gathering of prominent stakeholders, community leaders, members of the Muslim community, and Oyo government functionaries.
At the reception ceremony, held at Total Garden in Ibadan, the Deputy Governor, Barr. Lawal, who was present with other officials, described Owoseni’s new title as a well-deserved honor.
He noted that the title recognizes his significant contributions to public service, particularly in enhancing security, maintaining law and order, and fostering peace within Oyo State.
Barr. Lawal however prayed for Owoseni’s continued success and longevity, wishing him many more years of service to humanity and contributions to the development of Islam in the state.
The event was further graced by notable figures including Senator Sunmonu Monsurat, various commissioners, and community leaders, as well as Dotun Sanusi, Ologburo, Femi Jogor, Barrister Farinto, and a host of others.
