The Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, who is also the Aare of Ibadanland, His Eminence Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola (De-Damak), has felicitated with the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, CFR, on the celebration of his 10th anniversary on the throne of Odùduwà.
In a statement personally signed by His Eminence and released by his Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Faysol Oluwakemi, the Aare Musulumi described the Ooni’s decade-long reign as a period distinguished by remarkable contributions to peace, cultural upliftment, and the unity of the Yoruba people.
Aare De-Damak commended the monarch for his tireless efforts in promoting Yoruba heritage locally and internationally, as well as his steadfast commitment to youth empowerment and community development.
Alhaji Akinola further noted that Kabiyesi’s leadership continues to inspire harmony among traditional institutions, religious communities, and stakeholders across the region.
He prayed for long life, strengthened wisdom, and continued progress for the Ooni as he leads and positively impacts the Yoruba nation.
