In a message released today, Friday, September 5, 2025, , member of house of representative representing Ibadan South West and North West Federal Constituency in Oyo state, Hon Stanley Olajide Odidiomo has extended his greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, calling for a renewal of key virtues.
Odidiomo who is the chairman house committee on ICT and Cyber Security emphasized that the celebration, which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), serves as a reminder of the Prophet’s teachings, including compassion, honesty, humility, justice, and service to humanity. He urged citizens to embrace these values to foster a better society.
“May this celebration strengthen the bond of peace in our communities, deepen our commitment to mutual respect, and inspire us to care for the vulnerable,” Odidiomo stated. He concluded his message with prayers for joy in homes, progress for the state, and unity and security for the entire nation.
The message ended with a traditional “Eid Mubarak to Muslim ummahs .”
