The former house leader Rt. Hon Mulikat Akande-Adeola congratulates the entire people of Oyo North and Oyo state, especially Christians on the occasion and commemoration of Easter.
Easter celebration depicts the death and resurrection of Christ before His departure to heaven. Having come to the world with humility and left as a sacrifice so we may all live.
In her congratulatory message, the former house leader charged Christians to use this period to seek the face of God, emulate Jesus in is words, to preach peace, love and be united with others irrespective of disparities.
“This period is to show love to one another. Showing love should be our daily character because Jesus himself symbolise LOVE, PEACE.”
She admonished the Christians to also use this occasion to pray for peace to reign in this country. She also appealed to the good people of Oyo State to pray for Engr. Seyi Makinde; the incoming governor of Oyo State, that God grants him knowledge, wisdom and understanding like that of Solomon to steer the ship of Oyo state to the Promiseland.
