Unknown gunmen have reportedly kidnapped two children of a popular Ibadan based Islamic scholar Sheikh Taofeek Akeugbagold, in Ibadan. Sunrisebulletin.com reports.
The unfortunate incident which occurred on Saturday night at about 8pm around Ojoo area, Ibadan has thrown the family of the renowned Islamic scholar into sad mood as passionate appeals were made for immediate release of the twin.
Akeugbagold, who alerted members of the public on the sad development through his Facebook account said:
“What a country! My twins children were kidnapped at gun point at my Ojoo residence in Ibadan around 8PM Saturday, 10 minutes after I left my home recording lecture in a studio”
“Everybody should please for Allah’s sake, assist me in prayer and begging the abductors to please have mercy on me especially their mother who was barren for twelve years before.
“I am begging not flexing anything, this is their picture, help me share wide. Oh my God!
