The GSMists, a group propagating the good governance of Governor Seyi Makinde has today first day of January, 2023 launched her website for data gathering and dissemination of information to the good people of Oyo State, Nigeria and the world at large.
During the official launch and unveiling of the website, the organization’s State Coordinator, Honourable Abayomi Olajide recalled that the initiative commenced over two years ago with the basic aims of promoting good governance, propagating the good works and adherence to electioneering promises of Governor Seyi Makinde & forthwith mobilize good people and register voters towards continuous support and enhanced love of Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State.
He further explained that the website which will is laden with the good initiatives, infrastructure provision and aspirations will afford both partisan and non-partisan interests to have access to and be acquainted with the good governance style of Governor Seyi Makinde as the governor aspire to a glorious second term in office.
“Our movement, The GSMists, is opened to all Nigerians across tribe, race, religion, profession, political divides and gender as well as persons in the Diaspora interested in good governance.” Honourable Abayomi Olajide enthused.
The State coordinator further stated that the group approach has always being devoid of sentiments, “we have always being employing scientific process necessitating the quality landmark achievements witness by The GSMists just like His Excellency in the last 3 years plus in governance”
He highlighted that the launch of The GSMists website is another notable steps in the use Digital platforms to mobilize eligible voters towards the 2023 election by encouraging them to register on the website
and follow the organization on various social media handles like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook for quality engagement, reportages and education on various issues arising.
The State Coordinator popular known as Royal Umbrella emphasized that The GSMists have been publishing the activities of Governor Seyi Makinde on her journal which has being active since October 2021 express the confidence that the newly launch website will further increase the information dissemination aim of The GSMists Journal while getting the people closer to more enjoyable good governance as championed by Governor Seyi Makinde.
The GSMists, in the words of her State Publicity Secretary, Bashorun Abiodun Adeniji, is targeting bringing on board the larger percentage of the registered voters in and around Oyo State for positive appraisal and support of the People’s Democratic Party Candidates in the February 25 and March 11, 2023 national elections including the undecided voters. It’s expected that all intending voters will get educated on the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) by linking up to the newly launched The GSMists website while volunteers will gain more knowledge on communication skills to better engage electorates to increase the winning potentials of Governor Makinde and other People’s Democratic Party Candidates in the coming elections.
Apart from unveiling the e-campaign strategies, the group has also commenced the erection of campaign billboards across zones in Oyo State as well as distribution of pamphlets containing score card of Governor Makinde and the importance of ensuring sustainable development continue in Oyo State.
While speaking with journalists, Arc Salaam Azeez, the State Secretary of The GSMists thanked God for the success of the launching of the website, describing it as a huge positive stride and a step in the right direction. He said The GSMists has hit the ground running and will continue to take the good tidings of Governor Makinde to every part of Oyo State, Nigeria and the globe.
