TESCOM: Oyo Job Applicants Express Gratitude To Makinde For Zero Payment And Merit Based Process

Oyo state job applicants have expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the executive governor of Oyo state, Engr Seyi Makinde for making it possible regardless of social class to have access equal access and equal opportunities to state government jobs.

The applicants who could not contain their excitements went out of their way to design a gigantic banner with an inscription “Thank you to our father for the opportunity to sit for the Computer based test for the recruitment of teachers without knowing anybody and without any application fee, you are such a God fearing personality.”

Some of the applicants who spoke with Sunrisebulletin.com explained that some of them almost lost the opportunity for lack of trust for the government because of the way and manner past administration had used such to extort money from desperate job seekers without any hope of getting jobs.

They lamented that this is the first time state government jobs would be thrown open to the public absolutely for free and on grounds of merit and competence without any connections with anyone in government.

They said that Makinde had shown exceptional leadership qualities because he has restored the true sense of equality before the law in the minds of all Oyo residents with this act.

“I almost lost this golden opportunity when I heard the announcement in the news before corona virus came because what I have personally experienced in the hands of past administrations in my quest to secure a state government job is better kept in the cooler because governor Makinde is daily healing wounded hearts and restoring our true sense of equality and equal access to government opportunities.” One of the applicants explained.

Sunrisebulletin.com recalls that governor Makinde since inception of the present administration has continually reiterated that his government will provide equal opportunity and equal access to those opportunities on grounds of merit and competence.

Makinde has declared at different fora that governance in Oyo state was no more business as usual as his government is poised and committed to sanitize rots in the system with the aim been accountable to the people for whom the number one seat is held in trust.

Some of the applicants further explained that even though they are optimistic of getting jobs at the end of the process, they were not unmindful of the fact that not all applicants will be lucky enough but declared that nothing will deter or derail their love and support for the present government under the leadership of Engr Seyi Makinde.
