Senator Ladoja is a Major Brand, He will make ADC a brand in Oyo: Ralph Nwosu ADC National Chairman.


The National chairman of the Africa Democratic Congress Mr. Ralph Nwosu has described Senator Rashidi Ladoja has a Major brand in Oyo state, whose membership of the ADC has also made the party a brand. Ralph Nwosu made this known today in Ibadan the Oyo state capital, at the inauguration of the ADC steering committee for the party in Oyo state.
Speaking further, the national chairman said that other leaders, aside Senator Ladoja who have also joined the party are well impeded in the politics of Oyo state, expressing absolutely no doubt in the success of the party in the coming elections. Noting that until God recently used some South West leaders, ADC was like a corner shop, but has now moved to political limelight not just in Oyo state, but Nigeria.Nigeria

Nwosu who said that Oyo state plays a vital role in the politics of not just south west region,but Nigeria, stressing that with the calibre of leaders that has just joined the party, he is assured that within the coming weeks the Africa Democratic Congress would have registered 500,000 members in Oyo state. The ADC national chairman remarked that the party “African Democratic Congress is The Peoples own party”
The highlight of the event was the oath of office administered to the committee members, conducted by the deputy Speaker of Oyo state, Hon. Abudulwasi Musa, who led 16 other members of the Oyo state house of assembly to the event.

Dr. Femi Majekodunmi and Dr. Dele Ajadi emerged as the chairman and Secretary of the committee respectively, other members of the committee are Dr.Remi Adeniran who was nominated by Senator Rashidi Ladoja, Wole Oladunkun, Wale Adegoke, Gani Alade, all nominees of Chief Micheal Koleosho, Chief lakojo and Unity Forum respectively, also included as members are Wole Olatunji Labour party and Fatal Salam, Senator Monsuratu Somonu’s nominee.
The committee will manage the affairs of the party, until the party congresses are held at all levels.

Dignitaries who witnessed the inauguration ceremony included, Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja Former Governor Oyo state, Senator Monsuratu Sumonu representing Oyo central, Pa Busari Adebisi, others are Senator Gbenga Babalola, Senator Olufemi Lalenyin, Yunis Akintunde, Sarafadeen Alli, Kunle Busari, Alh. Hameed Gbadamosi, Chief Ayodele Adigun, Hon. Najeem Omirinde and Alhaji Lateef Komi were among the political bigwigs that graced the occassion.
It will be recalled that the Africa Democratic Congress is The major beneficiary from the crises that rocked the ruling All Progressive Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in The state. Senator Ladoja left PDP with his followers to join the ADC, While Senator Monsuratu Sumonu led the breakaway faction also known as Unity Forum to the ADC.
