Senator Folarin’s Comment Validates And Affirms The Fear Of Oyo Masses About APC’s Plan To Compromise Supreme Court Judges— Oyo PDP

The Oyo state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reacted to a video showing the APC Senator representing Oyo central senatorial district, Senator Teslim Folaring boasting about traps that have been set by APC for governor Makinde of PDP which according to the senator is believed would snatch power back from the ruling party under governor Seyi Makinde back to APC adding that such comment was not only reckless but has exposed APC’s secret agenda to tamper with the mandate freely given to governor Makinde by all means.

The Oyo state PDP through its publicity secretary Engr Akeem Olatunji while addressing Sunrise Bulletin correspondent today in Ibadan stated that the statement credited to the senator in the said video did not get to the people of Oyo state who willingly rejected the APC by massively voting for governor Makinde at the 2019 guber poll by surprise adding that another statement credited to senator Folarin in the same video that APC can not afford to be out of government in Oyo state did not only expose their evil orchestrations to truncate democracy in Oyo state but also shows the level at which the APC’s desperation to hold on to power at all cost has reached and how far they are willing to go.

Engr. Olatunji decried the way and manner APC in Oyo state has been going around town boastfully with false information after the ruling of the appeal court which clearly upheld the election victory of governor Makinde under the platform of PDP adding that it is now clear to all lovers of peace in the Oyo state and Nigeria what the APC is up to and how far they are ready to go to hang on to power at all cost.

The Oyo PDP spokesman alleged that Senator Folarin was a nobody politically until PDP gave him the chance to build a career in the Nigerian Politics adding that it was unfortunate that he is still exhibiting the take or mar attitude known in Yoruba parlance as (jagba) which is against everything the PDP represents leading to his migration to the APC noting that PDP expects the APC to prepare for the world court if possible after their final loss at the supreme court because it will take only the imaginable to upturn such remarkable and resounding victory to cover a deficit of over 165,000 votes after been defeated from 28 local governments out of 33.

Engr Olatunji however affirmed the confidence of the party in the credibility of the men and women at the apex court to always stand to uphold the truth in the face of intimidation and inducements to subvert the course of justice.

He urged all the people of Oyo state and the PDP to disregard the circulating video which he described as attempt to motivate the dying morals of members the APC who are still licking their wounds from the electoral bashing by the ruling party adding that it was too late to cry for the opposition as the entire state has rejected them through their votes urging the opposition to accept defeat and prepare for 2027 general elections after Makinde would have successfully completed a two term of four years each.
