The national leadership of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria, has named a two term Senator and the Chairman, Oyo state governor’s advisory council chairman, Senator Hosea Agboola, as the new Caretaker Chairman, Ekiti state chapter of the party.
The National Organizing Secretary, Col Austin Akobundu (Rtrd), in a letter he personally signed and made available to pressmen on Friday in Abuja, urged Senator Agboola to deploy his wealth of experience in the administration of the party in Ekiti state pending when a new state congress will hold and a new elected state party exco will be in place.

According to the letter, the party urged the new party Caretaker Chairman in Ekiti state and his interim excos to be guided by the party constitution and the Electoral Act 2010 as amended as well as the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
Subrisebulletin.com recalls that the Ekiti state PDP excos tenure which expired on May 10th 2020 has left temporary vacuum in the administration of the party in the state.
The new PDP caretaker committee in Ekiti state headed by Senator Hosea Agboola as Chairman is expected to last for a period of ninety days (three months) after which an elected state exco is expected to be fully constituted.
