PDP Leaders Pass Vote Of Confidence On Governor Seyi Makinde
Leaders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ido Local Government area of Oyo State on Tuesday (15th June, 2021) passed vote of confidence on the Executive Governor of the State, Engr. Seyi Makinde in an emergency meeting held at the Council Secretariat, Ido.
The party chieftains at the meeting which was hosted by the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sherrif Adeojo unanimously declared their total support and loyalty to Engr. Seyi Makinde in appreciation and recognition of his landmark and iconic achievements within just two years in office.
Party leaders that attended the meeting held at JOGOR Center last Thursday disclosed that they were invited by Mallam Muili Yusuf who did not disclose the objective of the meeting to them.
According to them, they later discovered at the venue of the meeting that they were not on the same page with the organizers of the meeting held at Jogor Center.
They, however, disclosed that they will continue their support and total loyalty to the present administration in Oyo State under the leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde in appreciation of the laudable executed projects in Ido Local Government which include Apete/Awotan concrete road and the recently commissioned resuscitated Ilaju Gari Processing Factory where His Excellency promised to rehabilitate Akufo/Ido road, Ido/Omi-Adio and Ido/Ilaju roads as soon as possible.
Engr. Seyi Makinde also promise to rehabilitate Wire & Cable/Ita Faji to Agbofieti road while Gbelede bridge and Igisogba bridge at Omi will be reconstructed.
Responding, the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sherrif Adeojo expressed his gratitude to the party leaders at the meeting for their resolve and determination to maintain their total loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde.
Present at the meeting were Alhaja Omolabake Olayiwola (SA to Governor Makinde, Ido/Ibarapa East), Alhaji Yisau Alabanla, Alh. Kasali Adigun, Alh. Akande Kasali, Hon. Rasaki Olalekan, Hon. Oladimeji Sulaiman, Alh. Bashir Adesiyan and Nureni Adeyemi.
Others include Hon. Isiaka Adeola, Alh. Abdulahi Tijani, Ameh Anthony, Hon. Bolaji Adeoye, Alhaji Tajudeen Atilola and Hon.Lateef Lawal.
