The executive chairman of Oyo State Rural Water Supply And Sanitation Agency (OYRUWASSA), Engr Najeem OMIRINDE, has lauded governor Seyi Makinde and the entire state executive council, for its proactive approach to governance following the approval for the Procurement of a truck mounted rigs with compressor.
The agency chairman, who made this disclosure to journalists in his office on Wednesday described the approval as very timely, highly commendable, and a proactive move in the right direction.
He said: “this is a landmark achievement in the history of Oyo state ‘to buy rigs’, NOT AT ALL, the existing rigs were freely donated to Oyo state by UNICEF and JICA since 1995 and they are no more working due to wear & tear
“With the state excos approval for procurement of a new Truck mounted rigs with Compressor is a landmark achievement in the history of Oyo state by OYRUWASSA.
“Sir, you have made history with this laudable step and the agency hereby, commended you for this giant move , hence you revive the Agency and thereby providing portable water for the people of the state.
“We, at the Agency promised that we will not disappoint you with the trust you have reposed in us sir.”
Engr Omirinde, however assured that the agency will continue to synergize with necessary stakeholders in its bid to provide clean and potable water to market, motor park and rural communities across the state.
