Attention of the Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) has been drawn to a false publication making the rounds particularly on social media as regards the commencement and closure for applications from suitably qualified candidates seeking to participate in the 2021/2022 recruitment exercise of the Authority.
We wish to dissociate the Authority from this publication as the official call for applications for recruitment is yet to be made.
We therefore implore the public to discountenance the news in its entirety and desist from following links and unofficial websites been peddled by fraudsters to defraud unsuspecting members of the public through the recruitment exercise.
Albeit His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde has graciously approved for the Authority to recruit more personnel to enhance its operational efficiency, applications from the general public is yet to commence.
The Authority would circulate advertisement through official Oyo State Government channels and approved platforms only in due course.
The public should note that the Authority would not at any point of a recruitment exercise demand for pecuniary gains from applicants, thus, any website or link demanding for such or any personal bank details of applicants should be greatly suspected.
