Oyo Police Commence Investigation On Ogbomosho Boy Found Missing In PH

The Oyo State Police Command on Tuesday said it has commenced discrete investigation on the migration of one Damilare Wabigba, a resident of Ogbomsho who was found in Rivers State.

According to the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, CP Ngozi Oandeko, Damilare, a resident of Olode Oremerin and a skilled labourer as at the time of contact stated that he had no business in Port-Harcourt but could not give a satisfactory account of himself as to how he got there other than his name and Oyo State address.

According to a press statement by CP Onadeko signed by the the state Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) DSP Adewale Osifeso and made available to sunrisebulletin.com on Tuesday Sept 14, the young man was found by a well meaning member of the public around G-Throne Hotel, Ohakwe street, Rumuigbo area of Portharcourt, Rivers State, on the 7th of September 2021.

She added that Damilare revealed that he had no business in the area and Could not explain how he moved to the area.

While discrete investigations are ongoing to demystify circumstances surrounding his suspicious migration, the Commissioner of Police Oyo State Command, Ngozi Onadeko urged members of the public with useful information or perhaps contacts linked with Damilare Wabigba to report immediately to the Oyo State Police Command.

“The Oyo State Police Command wishes to intimate the general public about the custody of One Damilare Wabigba ‘m’, age unknown, a resident of Olode Oremerin area, Ogbomosho, Oyo State, who was found by a well meaning member of the public around G-Throne Hotel, Ohakwe street, Rumuigbo area of Portharcourt, Rivers State, on the 7th of September 2021.

“Damilare Wabigba, a skilled labourer as at the time of contact stated that he had no business in Porthacourt but couldn’t give a satisfactory account of himself other than his name and Oyo State address.

“While discrete investigations are ongoing to demystify circumstances surrounding his suspicious migration, the Commissioner of Police Oyo State Command, CP Ngozi Onadeko fdc wishes to urge members of the public with useful information or perhaps contacts linked with Damilare Wabigba to report immediately to the Oyo State Police Command’s Public Relations Office, Eleyele Ibadan, Oyo State.” The Police Statement said.
