Oyo Deputy Bayo Lawal, Wife Cast Votes, Express Satisfaction With The Voting Process
Oyo State deputy Governor, Bayo Lawal has arrived the Ward 6, Unit 4, Kishi, Irepo Local Government Area of the state to cast his vote.
He arrived at about 9: 56AM in company of his wife, Mrs Ajibola.
They were warmly received at the unit by his director of Protocol, Olalekan Peter Olawale.
He was thereafter accredited and issued the ballot papers.
Oyo Deputy Governor, Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal and his wife, Chief (Mrs) Ajibola Lawal, have cast their votes in the presidential and National Assembly elections holding across the Nigeria.
Lawal and his wife, both voted at Polling Unit 4, ward 6, Irepo Local Government Area.
The deputy governor and his wife arrived at the unit at 9:56a.m; got successfully verified by the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) at 9:58 a.m. and voted at 10am.
Speaking with newsmen after casting his vote, Chief Lawal said he was impressed with the conduct of the exercise at the unit saying that the process is fast since accreditation and voting were done simultaneously.
He commended the peaceful atmosphere witnessed during the exercise and urged residents to maintain the peace, while enjoining them to remain patient to enable them to vote within the stipulated time frame.
