Oyo 2023: ADC House Of Assembly Candidates In Atisbo, Saki West, Saki East Local governments And Their Supporters Adopt Seyi Makinde As Guber Candidate.

Some members of the Africa Democratic Congress ADC in Atisbo, Saki West and Saki East local government areas have backed the Re-lection bid of governor Seyi Makinde, calling on their followers to unanimously support the governor in the March 11 elections.

At a well attended meeting held at the residence of Pa Adeojo’s residence Oje owode, Saki East local government, the ADC members were led by Hon. Coach Kehinde Adetola and Hon.Taiwo Babajide House of Assembly candidates of ADC for Saki West local government and Saki East and Atisbo local governments respectively.

Hon Adetola who spoke on behalf of the ADC members noted that though they are still members of the ADC, they have decided to adopt Seyi Makinde as there is no other candidates with richer credentials than him.

He noted that ” Seyi Makinde has not only demonstrated, but has also shown unparalleled love for the people of Oke Ogun from his assumption of office, it is only fair that we reciprocate his love by voting for his reelection on March 11 2023″. He maintained that though he and his followers remain as ADC members, however he urged all his followers and well-wishers to vote en mass for the governor.”

Thanking them for their decision to support governor Seyi Makinde the duo of Hon Samuel Adejumo Special Adviser on Parliamentary Matters to governor Seyi Makinde and Hon. Debo Adejumo Chairman Oyo State Tourism Board represented the Governor, while Barrister Ajibade Senior Special Assistant on legal matters to the deputy governor also held forth for Bayo Lawal deputy governor Oyo state.

Hon. Samuel Adejumo who spoke on behalf of the governor expressed his gratitude to the ADC members for their decision, stressing that they have exhibited true qualities and characters of loyal sons of Oke Ogun. He noted further that whatever development that Makinde has brought to Oke Ogun will not be comparable to what will take place under Omituntun 2.0. Adejumo further added that they will not regret their decision as Seyi Makinde will make them proud.
