Oyebisi Ilaka expresses appreciation to PDP members and his campaign coordinators for their support

The Peoples Democratic party senatorial candidate in Oyo central Chief Bisi Ilaka has expressed deep appreciation to his campaign coordinators, all members of Peoples Democratic Party, particularly chairmen of the party across Oyo Central senatorial district, for their unflinching support and successes recorded in the recently concluded party primaries. While also emphasizing the need for collective effort of every individual towards the actualization of victory in the 2019 elections.

Ilaka who is a renowned lawyer and financial expert, gave this acknowledgment at a meeting in Oyo where he met with party chairmen and members of his campaign coordinators, the Oyo high chief also used the occasion to allay fears that the activities of his campaign coordinators may be at variance with that of party chairmen. He noted that every assignments given to coordinators shall be executed within the ambit of the party structure and none of them shall be conferred with powers above their local government chairman.

Earlier the DG campaign committee, Mr. Bola Akinyemi while welcoming the chairmen and coordinators to the meeting thanked those present for their continued support, readiness, dedication and commitment towards the emergency of Ilaka as the party’s candidate, and expressed the hope that Ilaka will be declared winner after the 2019 senatorial elections in Oyo central. Speaking further He remarked that effort have been made to ensure that party agents and election monitoring personnel are educated on proper conduct during elections.

Alhaji Arowosaye, a representative from Akinyele local government who spoke at the meeting, urged all members to imbibe the culture of unity and selfless services, he particularly called on all chairmen from Oyo Federal constituency to double their effort and chart all possible mechanism in mobilizing and canvassing support for the Victory of Ilaka, as all five local governments in Ibadan are committed to the suceesss of the Ladilu of Oyo.

Meanwhile, chairmen from Surulere and Ogo-Oluwa local governments enjoined Chief Ilaka to continue maintaining cordial relationships with all PDP members, elders and stakeholders from Ogbomoso, as it will go along way to complement their work.
