Oorelope Caretaker Chairman, Yaqub Adesola Brings Joy To LG With Food Provisions

Oorelope Caretaker Chairman, Honorable Yaqub Adesola popularly called TASOOLO, has revamped the joy in most communities across the local government with provision of food items to cushion the effects of government stay at home order.
Hon Yaqub who was in the midst of cheering crowd comprising of various community leaders and residents in the local government on Monday, while distributing the food items, stated that the whole essence of holding public office is to use public resources to better the life of the people.
The vibrant chairman who was visibly excited said that nothing brings joy to his heart than seeing his people at the council area in happiness noting that he would not allow the COVID-19 imposed stay at home elude his people the liveliness and joy of a unique people in the state.
He stressed that the economic implications of the dreaded virus on Oyo state internally generated revenue has been devastating adding that it would take only a near superhuman as governor Seyi Makinde to still keep the state running smoothly without a hitch in the face of the unpleasant present realities.
Tasoolo as he is fondly called by admirers and associates stated further that corona virus has imposed on Oyo state its most challenging time in history and expressed his optimism that the state will come out of the present most challenging time better and stronger.
He urged the people of Oorelope and Oyo state at large not to trivialize the dangerous impacts of the dreaded virus because of the positive record of recovery from COVID-19 by some of the confirmed cases in the state.
Hon Yaqub added that the palliative which include rice, garri, beans, vegetable oil, salt, and maggi seasoning were meant to cushion the economic effects of the stay at home order by the government on the people.
He particularly lauded governor Makinde and the Oyo state COVID-19 Taskforce for a tremendous job of keeping the number of confirmed cases in the state at its barest minimum.
He appealed to all sons and daughters from Oorelope local government both home and abroad, who are blessed with affluence and wealth to come to the aid of the local government during this challenging period.
He assured that he would continue to collaborate and interface with all stakeholders both in health sector and wealthy individuals with the aim of helping his people go through this period with ease.
