The People’s Democratic Party Chairmen in Oke Ogun, have commended Engr. Seyi Makinde Executive Governor of Oyo State and his Deputy Engr. Raufu Olaniyan for approving and awarding the reconstruction of the Moniya-Iseyin road to Kopek. This commendation was giving after a meeting in Saki chaired by the PDP Oyo North Senatorial Chairman Oluwakemi Waheed.
In a communique made available to sunrise bulletin, the PDP local government Chairmen from Oke Ogun expressed deep appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde, noting that he is a man that keeps to his words. They noted further that the governor’s decision to look into the suffering of Oke Ogun indegenes by reconstructing the Moniya-Iseyin road has written his name and that of his Deputy in the heart of every Oke Ogun sons and daughters.
The meeting which was attended by nine of the ten Chairmen in Oke Ogun reiterated their committment and allegiance to the Governor, stressing that Oke Ogun will be forever grateful to Governor Seyi Makinde.

Okunlade PDP Chairman Saki East, others present at the meeting included Alhaji Adeoti PDP Chairman Orelope, Alhaji Saminu PDP Chairman Olorunsogo and Ismail Odedelr PDP Chairman Irepo local government all signed the communique after the meeting.
