The Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Energy, Mr Moshood Adewale SAKA, has commiserated with the governor and his entire family over the demise of Mrs Abigail Makinde who died at an advanced age of 80.

Mr Saka, in a statement he personally signed and made available to sunrisebulletin.com described the deceased as a very rare gem who was very friendly, humorous, and homely.

The governor’s aide explained that he has very fond memory of mama Abigail Makinde whom he described as ‘source of inspiration’ stressing that her entire life was an embodiment of inspiration and motivation to all.

He particularly urged Governor Makinde, Barrister Makinde who is governor’s elder brother, to be strong and comforted in the will of God who He said took her into everlasting rest.

“Mama lived a completely fulfilled life leaving behind legacies that can never be erased in the sands of time, even though we wished she was still much around with us, it pleased God almighty to take her home.

“We are very pained because there could be no greater pain the heart can bear other than losing the person through whom we were brought into this world and we share in the governor’s grief at this time.

“Our thoughts are with the entire family at this critical time, and our prayers are that God in his infinite grace grants the entire family the fortitude to hear the irredeemable loss,” he said.
