Makinde, Face Of New Political Leadership, A Future President Of Nigeria – S.A Legislative Matters Adejumobi Samuel

As the 9th Oyo assembly resumes from its working recess yesterday, many have expressed their anticipations from the lawmakers as they prepare to resume plenaries to debate motions and bills on the floor of the house.
Honourable Adejumobi Samuel Ademola popularly called Agbarapo who was a former lawmaker and currently the special adviser to the governor on legislative matters while addressing newsmen in his office yesterday has assured the people of more robust and vibrant legislations from the lawmakers who appeared to have overworked themselves during their previous sittings before the recess as a result of the exigencies at the time. The former majority leader assured that the 9th assembly is already channelling its youthful energy into the building of Oyo state with unprecedented achievement within such short period, noting that the pace of their work has propelled the speed of developmental programs by the executives led by the executive governor.
Hon. Adejumobi louded the victory of Engr. Seyi Makinde at the governorship election petition tribunal describing it as “victory for the people” who fought tooth and nail to liberate themselves from the shakkles of their oppressor by entrusting governor Makinde with their mandate to which the governor is already justifying with delivery of good governance in the state.
He stated further that the executive retreat experience which took place last week at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) Ibadan, has exposed all members of the executive to a better appreciation of governor Makinde’s expectations of them as well as his economic agenda in their order of priority.
He however enjoined members of the opposition particularly the All Prograssives Congress (APC) to end the feeling of a bad loser by embracing the pathway to economic prosperity for all which governor Makinde is already laying, he assured that the people of Oyo state will be very desirous of governor Makinde’s continuation in office as governor after his first term so much that future electoral losses will be more calamitious for them to have a grasp of what has befallen their party in Oyo state.
He said “governor Makinde is the face of new political leadership in Oyo state, his success has turned him to a rallying point in the entire southwest region of Nigeria, and his style of leadership has made him a reference by other governors including opposition for good governance, it makes us feel so proud working with him because this is the type of leader we have long craved and prayed for, and i can tell you that one day this man called Engr Seyi Makinde will rule this country as President, just mark my word.”
