LAUTCH Fees Hike: Education has collapsed Under Ajimobi – Adeoye
The youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo state, has blamed the crumbling educational system on poor governmental policies of the Ajimobi led government towards the sector in the state, as exemplified by the recent hike in fees payable by students of the Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso, noting that the educational sector in the state has collapsed.
This was the content of a statement made available to Sunrisebulletin.com and signed by Adekola Adeoye.
Adeoye cited instances where lecturers in the state tertiary institutions are owned months of salaries without a definite time frame for payment.
He said further that is as if the state government intended to add salt to injury, suffered by most residents of the state, particularly parents who are government employees,and are owned backlog of salaries, that the Ajimobi led government sanctioned an increase in tuition fees at Lautech. has again demonstrated gross insensitivity to the plight of her citizens, remarked Adeoye.
He however urged the people of Oyo state not to loose Faith in democracy, as PDP is poised to offer a better and humane government from 2019.
