JUST IN: Oyo Assembly Lawmaker, Akintunde Olajide, Lauds Makinde Over Bashorun, Akobo, Road Project Approval

The lawmaker representing Lagelu state constituency at the 9th Oyo state House of Assembly, Honourable Akintunde Olajide, has lauded the state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for the approval to complete and rehabilitate Akobo road.
The lawmaker who also doubles as the chairman house committee on commerce and cooperatives, in a statement of gratitude to the governor which was sent to sunrisebulletin.com on Thursday 5th November, 2020, said the road when completed will fully open up Lagelu local government for more economic development.
AKT as he is fondly called explained that governor Seyi Makinde has clearly demonstrated that he is not a sectional leader by ensuring that his developmental projects especially in the area of critical infrastructural development spread evenly across all local governments in the state.
Sunrisebulletin.com recalls that Oyo state executive council chaired by the governor had approved the sum of N3.2bn to complete and rehabilitate 7.25km Idi-Ape Bashorun, Akobo-Odogbo barrack junction road at its last state executive meeting held in Ibadan.
Honourable Akintunde stressed that governor Makinde is daily providing exceptional leadership completely in line with his economic blueprint in the state.
The lawmaker vowed to continue to use his office to propagate the sense of pride governor Makinde has restored in the minds of all the people of Lagelu who are known in Yoruba parlance as ‘baba Ibadan’ (father of Ibadan).
The lawmaker however assured that the entire people of Lagelu are in full support of governor Makinde’s government particularly his policies and programs as they have continued to produce remarkable results.
