I WILL BE KOGI GOVERNOR BY NOVEMBER – SEN. DINO MELAYE
Senator representing Kogi west at the red chamber of the national assembly, Dino Melaye has said that he will be elected Kogi state governor by November in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.
Melaye had recently declared his ambition to vie for the number one seat in the state under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The lawmaker has intensified campaign with lots of posters and jingles on display on Twitter and Instagram, he has also showcased his achievements so far in the state as a senator of the federal republic
“I will be governor of Kogi state by the special Grace of God,” he said on his Instagram page on Sunday, June 23. He added that “knowing yourself is the very foundation of all wisdom.” The governorship aspirant released the official photo on his Instagram page on Sunday, June 2.
This came shortly after the senator declared his interest to contest the Kogi governorship election scheduled for November 16.
The senator made his intention known on Saturday, June 1, during an executive meeting of Kogi west PDP which held at his country home in Aiyetoro Gbede, Ijumu local government area of the state.
