The lawmaker who stated that the desire to make primary healthcare service delivery accessible to the people at the grassroots necessitated the motion he moved on the floor of the house few weeks ago which he believed would bring about an immediate turn around in the fortunes of the health sector in the state adding that he will continue
The businessman cum politician while addressing the management staffs and parents who attended the flag off stated that his desires is to see to total transformation of the primary healthcare centre at the constituency so that people can start to enjoy quality medical services at no cost adding that the legislative house will continue to engage and interface with the executive arm of government to ensure the desired result is achieved noting that the people also have the duty to adequately maintain whatever structures and facilities government tries to provide so that monies that would be expended on repaires could be channelled to other productive areas that would be beneficial to all.
The matron of the healthcare centre, Mrs. Esan thanked the lawmaker and described his relationship with the healthcare facility as a real motivation that only brings renewed hope and commitment to service adding that the facility had long been neglected and abandoned noting that the lawmaker’s gesture shows his love for his people at the constituency after which prayers were said on the lawmaker’s behalf.
AKT however assured that his office is wide open both at the state house of assembly and the constituency office for the people noting that state work is humongous and only when there’s a continuous interface with the people that he will be able to get feedbacks and where to improve upon adding that he will continue to give his constituency a vibrant representation at the legislative chamber and to do everything within his capacity to attract physical development to Lagelu local government area.
