Honrourable Yusuf Adebisi Oladeni Deputy Chief Whip of the 9th Oyo Assembly and the vice chairman House committee on youths and sports, has taking giant stride in his quest to reposition 3SC FC of Ibadan for effective and efficient management in the best interest of all.
This move is coming following the abysmal performance of the football club in its bid to secure a spot in the Nigerian premier league ahead of the new season.
Recall that Hon. Yusuf who was visibly angry by the club’s failure to secure a promotion through their defeat to Akwa Starlet last week, has vowed to get to the root of the matter leading to such woeful performance.
One of such giant steps taken by the vibrant lawmaker is the invitation of all stakeholders to a round table discussion on Friday which also has Mr. Amos Adamu former Director General Nigeria National Sports Commission in attendance.
The meeting is reported to be centered on finding a lasting solution to the lingering crisis that has continued to bedevil 3SC management board leading to its failure to secure promotion to the topflight league.
The lawmaker in company of the former Director General NNSC Mr. Amos Adamu visited the deputy governor of Oyo state Engr. Rauf Olaniyan and had a closed door meeting.
Hon. Yusuf however promised that his committee will shun all forms of sentiments in finding a lasting solution to the sport house.
