Hon. Owolabi Partners With Hacey Health Initiative, Donates 200 Birthing Kits, Transformer Cables To Constituent

The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East state constituency II at the 9th Oyo House of Assembly, Honourable Olusola A. Owolabi, in line with his electoral promises to atttact physical development to his constituency has taken a giant stride within short time of assuming office to put smiles on the faces of people at his condtituency through what may be termed as “proactive approach to leadership” as he partners with a foremost health facility company Hacey Health Initiative to provide at least 200 unit of bed kits to Primary Health Care Unit of Ibadan North East local government, Iwo Road, Ibadan.
The outspoken lawmaker stated that this guesture is very important and urgent in his program for his people as maternal mortality rate is gradually becoming endemic in our society. He further stated that as a result of the urgent need and desire to begin the attraction of physical developments to his constituent he could not wait for the constituency allowance before attending to the yearnings of his people.
He said “The first similar guesture of this nature which we did was the provision of electric cables for the non functional transformer at Ifelodun area of Iwo road in order to provide them electricity in that area, and now they are very happy because there is light in the area now.” “Today we have been able to provide through our partnership with Hacey Health Initiative, at least 200 unit of bed kits to the local government primary health care centre so that maternal mortality can be curbed, it is a huge project of course but we are determined and committed to restore hope to our people and restore the quality of life of our people.”
Hon. Owolabi noted that although members of the 9th assembly are yet to receive constituency allowance but he could no longer wait and as such, has therefore, personally made it a point of duty to separate a certain percentage of his salaries to cater for urgent needs of his people at his constituency.
“If you look at the rate and pace at which governor Seyi Makinde is moving with his developmental programs and policies, you will realize that we are not here to experiment, we are here to execute, the governor is already acting his words and we have to follow suit in order to have wide spread of real developments across the state.”
The vibrant lawmaker however, promised to reach out to HLA school at Ifelodun area with physically challenged students in his subsequent program before the year runs out. He stated that his office is always open to partnership that will create synergy with both local and international organizations in order to bring physical developments to Ibadan North East loca government area of Oyo state.
