Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state will tomorrow at 10am inaugurate commissioners that will pilot the affairs of the state with him, it will be recalled that the state House of Assembly screened and confirmed the list of commissioners sent by the Governor before the Sallah break.
Governor Mankinde has also sent names of three nominees to be screened and confirmed as commissioners to the Oyo State House of Assembly.
Alhaja Faosat Joke Sunni from Iseyin local government and Professor Rapheal Afonja from Ogbomoso North local government are amongst the name sent. The Governor, in his letter to the lawmakers, further said that he was going to send names of another nominee to make it three.
Though the sponsor of the female nominee is not unknown at the moment, it is was believed that the professor, was nominated by a former leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Mulikat Adeola-Akande.
Meanwhile, Sunrisebulletin.com can not confirm when the new nominees will be screened as the lawmakers are on recess till September 15.
