The executive governor of Oyo state has has officially inaugurated the newly constituted governor’s advisory council today in line with his promise of an all inclusive governance. In his remark, the governor stated that every proactive organization or government must have such body in place stressing that it is the key to the success of most organizations and government and Oyo state can not be an exception.
He further stressed that it is very important for this administration to have such council of highly intellectuals who have distinguished themselves as successful individuals in their various chosen careers in place, noting that the availability of the body will make it possible for the government to always draw from their wealth of wisdom and experience in ensuring provision of good governance to the people of Oyo state.
The governor further assured the council of government full support in helping them discharge their duties with utmost effectiveness and efficiency. The commencement of the council assigmment as an advisory body to the governor takes immediate effect upon their formal inauguration.
