Former First Lady Of Oyo State Mutiat Ladoja Condoles With Oyo Speaker Over Mother’s Demise.
Former First lady of Oyo State Alhaja Mutiat Olayinka Ladoja has expressed deep sadness over the passing away of Chief Mrs Justina Iyabo Ogundoyin, mother of Rt.Hon. Debo Ogundoyin Speaker Oyo State house of Assembly who recently passed away.
In a media statement made available from her office, Ladoja described Iyabo Ogundoyin’s demise as loss that will be difficult to bear.
The statement reads in part, “I console with the family of Rt.Hon. Debo Ogundoyin, Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly on the demise of his lovely mother Chief Justina Iyabo Ogundoyin, to those of us who are close to her she epitomises humility and a woman with a kind heart, She was an incredible woman who touched so many hearts and positively impacted many lives. I hope it will comfort you to know that I share in your loss of such a wonderful woman, May her soul rest in peace.
Mrs Ladoja who is also the Maye Iyalode of Ibadanland urged the children and family members of the dearly departed to take solace in knowing that Chief Justina Iyabo Ogundoyin lived a good life and has left behind a good legacy and a proud heritage
Lastly, Ladoja noted that “Words of sympathy feel inadequate in expressing grief and sorrow for a loss so great. However, my prayers are with the Ogundoyin family during this sad time, and I urge them to always remember that the candle may go out, but the memory of its light remains.” The good memories of Chief Justina Iyabo Ogundoyin will always remain with us.
