Folashade Shona Ajike Celebrating An Iconic Woman

Is there anything wrong in appreciating the good deeds of good Nigerians? What exactly is wrong with the recognition being given to some philanthropists who chose to use their hard earn money to support the less privileged in the society?

Well, I want to believe that as God created us, we cannot see things from the same angle but will appreciate if good things are seen and recognized. This can only make our society worth of living.

Let me appreciate the Management of Ikeja High School, Lagos for deeming it worthy of given recognition to honour a Woman with large heart, Philanthropist, Destiny helper, selfless human being and one who has never looked down on anybody irrespective of religion, background, economic status, tribe or what have you, Folashade Shona Ajike of DLA Toys, Ikeja Lagos as Yeye Atorise of Ikeja High School, Lagos.

The recognition is indeed a well deserved one. This humble woman has been sponsoring many less privileged children to school by paying their fees, clothing them and even giving them cash for their upkeep. She has been assisting some teachers for years by making them economically viable with a view to making them happy while teaching the future of tomorrow.

Folashade Shona Ajike’s contributions to the development of our education is a topnotch. She believes that if the children are well taking care of today, they will be relevant in the society tomorrow and make the country proud. Lest we forget the Yoruba adage that says ” Omo ti a o ko, lo maa gbe ile ti a ko ta”.

The newly recognized and honoured Yeye Atorise, Folashade Shona Ajike does not want the future of these young lads and lasses to be truncated, rather want the best out of them. What a special creature of God she is!!!!.

Let me use this opportunity to call on other Nigerians to emulate the gesture of this woman, Folashade Shona Ajike to start supporting educational advancement of our children in the society. Nobody knows tomorrow and that tomorrow is greater than today, hence the need to value it more.
The Yeye Atorise has indeed “reshaped the heads” of some Children for greater tomorrow. I believe this woman is not the richest person or has much resources to squander but she knows that giving back to the society out of whatever God has given her will go a long way in the life of the beneficiaries, which is enough to deserve more accolades and recognitions for her service to humanity.

I thank the Management, Staff and Students of Ikeja High School, Lagos for seeing, knowing and identifying with the woman of honour. Folashade Shona Ajike has written and is writing her names in gold and I believe the children she has helped or is helping will reciprocate by becoming good ambassadors of our great Nigeria later in life.

To the new Yeye Atorise of Ikeja High School, Lagos, I urge her not to rest on her oars but continue to serve humanity in whatever capacity that you can. Only God of rewards can pay you back in many folds. You value what the Bible says that Children are God’s Heritage and you treasure them with humility. Thank you, Folashade Shona Ajike for all you do. Posterity will always be kind to you.

Congratulations!
