Fatai Sa’adu Oriire Ward One Supervisory Councilor Empowers Party Faithfuls in Íkòyí-Ile (Photos)
As part of his commitment to the emancipation and welfare of PDP party faithfuls across villages in Ward One Oriire Local Government Area, a Supervisory Councilor, Hon. Fatai Adeniyi Sa’adu last week gave a cash gift of ₦5,000 to over 70 Party members and religious leaders drawn from all communities under Oriire LG Ward One, Íkòyí-Ile.
The event which took place at the PDP Party Secretariat along Ikoyi-Igbeti Road, Íkòyí-Ile was witnessed by a crowd of party faithfuls from over 20 villages.
Commending the Supervisory Councilor after the event, the Oriire PDP Party Chairman, Alhaji Kegbeyale Bello said the gesture was unprecedented by an appointee in this dispensation. He thanked the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde for giving opportunity to kind hearted individuals like Hon. Fatai Sa’adu to serve under his leadership. He commended the appointee for taking this initiative and prayed that God should elevate him beyond his imagination.

The Chairman also used the occasion to call on other appointees to take a cue from the precedence set by Hon. Fatai Sa’adu.
Also commenting after the event, a PDP Stakeholder in Oriire LG, Prince ‘Sola Kọláwọlé-Oníkòyí also commended the appointee for putting the interest of the party and members of the party into consideration in the face of the present economic situation in the country. He admonished other political office holders and appointees in Oriire LG to consider replicating this novel gesture so as to make party faithfuls feel the impact of the GSM administration in Oyo State. He insisted that stomach infrastructure is also an important infrastructure.
On his path, Hon. Fatai Sa’adu thanked the Governor for his appointment and the leader of the party, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi for the opportunity to serve. He promised to reciprocate the gesture of the Governor by doing more for people across communities in Oriire LG. He assured leaders and members of the party that he will continue to do everything possible to ensure that the second term bid of the Governor becomes a reality with overwhelming support from voters in Oriire LGA.
Several women and youths who benefited also prayed for the Supervisory Councilor while assuring him of their support for GSM and all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections in 2023.
