EXCLUSIVE: I Am Set To Conquer World Music — Fast Rising Music Star, TommyB

A fast rising upcoming and multi-talented music star, Oniyele Tomide popularly known as TommyB has gotten many players in the Nigerian music industry talking with his debut single titled “Leave Story.”

The song is produced by the best producer 2019 Headies Awards “Killertunes” who has also worked with Top African Music Super stars such as Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi and Mayorkun.

Speaking with Sunrise Bulletin on phone when contacted on Saturday Feb 1, 2020, TommyB, the Ekiti born multi talented music rave stated that he has lived most part of his life in Lagos and his songs are inspired by the daily struggle and bustle to survive in an environment where opportunities for a common Nigerian is extremely low adding that the new single “Leave Story” is a song that will not only motivate listeners but also inspire every his audience to remain focus in their different struggles.

He said “Leave Story is a song you want to wake up to every morning, it’s a song that’ll spur you further each day to achieve your goals, while giving your heart a desired rhythm to dance to.”

He explained further that the beauty of African music is not limited to the psychological boost they provide, or the rhythm they bring but in the inspiring messages of hope, endurance and reassurance of a successful life against all odds.

“That is precisely what my new hit-song, Leave Story by me gives to anyone that listens to the song, it revives the beauty of Afrobeat, Afro-pop and Afro-fusion.”

“The new song connects with the heart of every hustler – every person striving to make a better future for themselves and their loved ones, inspires everyone struggling in their various fields of expertise to endure beyond breaking-point and to see light at the end of every dark tunnel”. He said.

TommyB stressed that the new song addressed people with mental health issues such as depression and suicidal thoughts among African youth as a result of frustration.

Speaking on his experience in life, TommyB said that his rise to fame is a product of hardwork, endurance, perseverance, persistence; and consistency with creative-ideas.

Oniyele Tomide graduated from University of Ilorin and bagged his masters degree from Afe Babalola university, Ado Ekiti in Tourism and Events Management. His dream is to inspire Nigerian youths positively to become the best they aspire to be.

The versatile music artist warned against internet fraud and other social vices stressing that only those who have lost their faith in God and trust in their legitimate hustle would resort to things contravene the laws of the land.

He has some yet to be released songs with different famous producers in the industry including one of the biggest producers in Africa, Dj Coublon.
