Excitement As Oluyole Local Govt Boss, Hon Settle, Begins Second Phase Distribution Of COVID-19 Palliative

Oluyole local government caretaker chairman, Hon Settle Olaide, has flagged off distribution of the 2nd phase of Covid-19 Relief package comprising of food materials to residents and all interest groups, ethnicities, and professional and occupational associations in the local government.

Hon Olaide, while presenting the palliative to various beneficiaries in the local government said that the state government under the leadership of governor Makinde is genuinely dedicated and committed to the wellbeing of the people particularly at the grassroots stressing that it is at such local level the harshness of the pandemic is felt more.

The caretaker chairman added that local government administration must take into consideration the important roles played by members of the public at the local level to the actualization of local government administration which was why his government was reaching out to all interest groups including Baales, Community leaders, Disables, Aged, Widows, Community development council (CDC), Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Imams/Alfas, FOMWAN, Christian private school principals, Islamic private school principals, National Council for Women (NCWS), Oluyole Youth Council (OYC), Non Indigenes representative of Hausa, Igbo, Igede , Political parties like PDP, APC, ADC, ZLP, Artisan associations like Deejays Association of Nigeria (DJAN), Barbers, Hairdressers, Bricklayers, Welders

The palliative distribution which took place on Thursday (today) at the local government secretariat, Idi Ayunre, Ibadan was described as laudable and a show of genuineness of purpose by Hon Settle Olaide led local government administration.

Other top officials of the council at the event include caretaker Secretary- Hon Nasiru Hamzat, Alhaja Abass, as well as Caretaker committee members which include Hon Alimi Abiola, Hon Taofeeq Ogunrinde, Hon Demola Tella, Hon Ogunsade Grace, Hon Moses Bolanle, and other Heads of Departments.

“As Coro continue to bit harder, the means to survive among our People remain tough and costly. Thus, giving serious headache and undeserved unrest to the entire caretaker committee members and management of Oluyole local government as to define best possible way to key into the vision of His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde by coming up with phasr 2 relief package for the entire Oluyoles.

Pastors, Hausas, Igbos, Igedes,
aged, youths, disabled, hairdressers, barbers, widows,
bricklayers, members of Oluyole PDP, APC, ADC, ZLP.

“This is so because we want to be sure no section of the public in Oluyole local government is left out of benefiting from this palliative because we believe that everybody is going through this tough time the same way and must be considered in whatever relief measures we are giving out to ameliorate the hardship brought about by the corona virus pandemic.
