#EndSars: Happening Live: Traffic Gridlock In Ibadan As Angry Protesters Besiege Oyo State Secretariat

Angry protesters have besieged the Oyo state Secretariat in Ibadan over the #ENDSARS protests leading to heavy traffic gridlock for road commuters, sunrisebulletin.com reports.

The Honourable Commissioner for youth and sports, Mr Seun Fakorede, who attempted to appease to the fierce looking protesters met an unpleasant violent reaction leading to the Secretariat security officials to close all entry gates.

As at the time of filing this report, commuters who went to the Secretariat for various activities are are stalked inside while those outside intending to enter could not gain entry.

The protesters who barricaded frontage of the state Secretariat were chanting different protest songs with various placards to register their displeasure against what they described as police brutality and injustice against victims of such brutality.

Some of the protesters who spoke with Sunrisebulletin.com stressed that the protest will continue until government at both federal and state level yield to their demand to either disband SARS as a police unit or completely overhaul it.

The executive governor of Oyo state, Engr Seyi Makinde, is currently in Ondo state in his capacity as the PDP campaign Chairman for the forthcoming Ondo election on Saturday.
