#EndSARS Protest: Angry Youths Demands To See Makinde As They Storm State Secretariat

Angry youths in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo state, have taken to the streets in continuation of the #EndSARS campaign which has continued unabated since last week, sunrisebulletin.com reports.
The Oyo state deputy governor, Engr Rauf Olaniyan, who made attempt to address the angry protesters was rebuffed as the protesters demanded to speak directly with the executive governor, Engr Seyi Makinde.
Recall that youths across the country took to the streets last week in protest against what was described as police brutality and harassment of innocent Nigerians’, the protest has since continued uninterruptedly.
The #EndSARS protest in Ibadan was brought under control last week after protesters freely protested at the Oyo state Secretariat to register their grievances.
The protest which was presumed to have subsided especially in Ibadan has now taken a new dimension today 13th of October, with protesters barricading roads along Bodija axis thereby causing disruption in free flow of traffic leading to commuters diverting their cars through other routes.
Another group of angry protesters currently match towards the state Secretariat from Iwo road axis causing apprehension among passers by.
The angry youths were seeing carrying different placards with different inscriptions such as “#EndSARS, #SaveNigerianYouths, #Enough is Enough” etc.
