The Member representing. Numan/Demsa/Lamurde Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Kwamoti B. Laori felicitates with Muslims in Nigeria, Adamawa State and particularly in his Constituency on this year’s Eid- el- Kabir Sallah Celebration.
Hon Laori enjoined the Muslim ummah to pray fervently for the Nation during this trying period and to also observe the basic guidelines against the spread of Covid 19 Pandemic during the celebration.
Laori opined that the need for supplication on the part of the Muslims became expedient given the ravaging effects of the deadly COVID 19 pandemic that almost paralyzed the world economy.
Hon Kwamoti Laori also called for more prayers for the leaders to confront the myriads of security challenges which appears to be deteriorating across the nation.
The Member appealed for peaceful coexistence and tolerance amongst the people of his Constituency, stressing that no meaningful Development can be achieved amidst insecurity.
He called on religious leaders to preach love for one another, tolerance and forgiveness which he said are critical to peaceful coexistence and progress.
Hon Kwamoti urged religious leaders not to deny the reality of Covid 19 pandemic but teach and encourage people to adhere to the laid down protocols given by NCDC and the State authorities in order to curb the spread of the global pandemic.
Hon Laori also use the opportunity to call on leaders to justify the confidence reposed in them by living up to the expectations of the electorates by impacting positively on their lives especially in times like this
While Wishing the Muslim faithfuls a successful Sallah celebration, he called on the people to be use this season to rebuild relationships and consolidate the effort of the state government in ensure security of lives and property as well as peaceful coexistence in Adamawa State and the nation at large.
