As Alao Akala Lays Foundation Stone…
Renowned philanthropist and admirer of former governor of Oyo State, Dr. Samson Adewale Adegoke, has donated a twenty-five million Naira worth e- library to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso.
Speaking at the foundation laying ceremony, the staunch supporter of Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala, said more developmental donations were coming the way of the University which he described as the Institution of the future.
Vice – Chancellor of the Citadel of learning, Professor Michael Ologunde in his own address said E – library is part of the development that make higher institution viable in modern world. Ologunde added that the E-library project signal the fact that LAUTECH is poised for unprecedented growth that is capable of returning it to its glorious past.
Chairman of the day, Otunba Alao-Akala while delivering his address said LAUTECH has come of age in the area of technology. He said the E-library will improve the modern trend of technology in LAUTECH.
Earlier in his remark, the National President of LAUTECH Alumni Association, Mr. Solomon Onilede thanked the donor and Otunba Akala for their gesture, he promised that the University will put the E-library into proper use after completion.
