COVID-19: SUDIT OIL Commends Makinde’s Taskforce, Donates Relief Materials To Oyo Govt

The Management of SUDIT OIL and Chemical Limited maker of ROSEL Vegetable Oil on Saturday delivered to the Oyo State Government 200 cartons of ROSEL Vegetable Oil as part of her social responsibilities.

The delivery were received on behalf of the State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, by the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon Bayo Lawal, who described the donation as timely and in tune with the efforts of the state government to put smiles on the face her citizens who have had their businesses disrupted by the Coronavirus ravaging the entire world.

In the word of the Managing Director of the company, Mr Babatunde Balogun Kuku, who was represented by his wife, Mrs Rachel Kuku, he expressed satisfaction with the transparency and utmost sincerity being displayed by Governor Seyi Makinde led administration since inception and this accounted for the reason the company decided to support the government in its drive to cushion the effect of the partial lockdown in the state.

According to Mr Kuku, it is important to follow the directives of the Governor Seyi Makinde led COVID-19 Taskforce by ensuring proper washing of hands with sanitizer and always observe social distancing and in the alternative to stay safe by staying indoor.

“Our people should also avoid touching their nose and mouth with fingers without proper washing and incessant sneezing and dry coughing with high temperature should be reported to the designated lines of the Taskforce for early detection and treatment.

Mr Kuku charged all illustrious sons and daughters of Oyo state home and abroad to fully identify with the state especially during this trying time stressing that infection on one is great threat to all.

He urged people to shun all forms of political differences and form a unifying force behind the governor who in the face of very scarce resources has continued to display exceptional courage and gallantry in the fight against the dreaded disease.

Others present at the donation are Hon Saheed Oyewale, a successful businessman cum philanthropist as well as the company’s CSO Mr Aremu.
