Following the decision of Otunba Alao Akala a former governor of Oyo state to return to the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC in the state, several of his followers may have decided to part ways with him.
Speaking to our reporter today in Ibadan, Hon. Sanni Yinusa Ayinla aka Insha Allahu, who was ADP candidate for Irepo/Olorunsogo/Oorelope federal constituency said he, his followers and several other members of ADP have decided to part ways with the former governor.
Describing Akala’s decision to join forces with APC as selfish and self serving without regards to the feelings of his followers or the suffering masses of the state whom the APC government in the last eight years has improvished and pauperised.
Speaking further, Hon Ayinla who with over 9000 votes, is the second person with the highest votes in ADP according results from the recently held national assembly elections, said he and his followers will be joining the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo state. While also reiterating his commitment to work with the PDP governorship candidate Engr. Seyi Makinde to restore the lost glory of the state.
