Community Honours Omi/Apata Chairman, Hon Sherrif Adeojo For Commitment To Community Development

The caretaker chairman of Omi/Apata local community development area (LCDA), Honorable Sherrif Adeojo has badged his first award from a community under the LCDA for leadership and commitment to good governance at the grassroots.
Community leaders of Oganla-Lasokun area of Omi/Apata could not hold back their excitement to see Hon. Sherrif Adeojo leading top members of the local council area and PDP stalwarts to clean up various communities during last week’s environmental sanitation exercise in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
The community leaders of Oganla-Lasokun attributed the chairman’s remarkable leadership style to commitment and dedication to serve noting that it is very unlike others who held the same position in the past with grandstanding attitude to members of various communities.
The community leaders stated that governor Makinde has truly demonstrated beyond all doubts that access to good governance at the grassroots is paramount to the present administration.
Hon Sherrif in his remark thanked Oganla-Lasokun Community for the honour to present such an award to him, describing the award as a propeller to do more with his team in order to achieve more as a people.
He said that governor Makinde whom God has graciously blessed in all corner of human existence including humility and love for humanity has set a great precedent when he led his entire executive cabinet to clean up the city of Ibadan and all other have no choice than to follow that path.
He promised continuous engagement of community leaders across all communities under the LCDA in a bid to entrench the spirit of open and transparency in public office.
