Breaking: Taraba State Govt. Discharges All Patients After Testing Negative

All COVID-19 patients in Taraba State have been discharged after testing negative, Saharareporters gathered.

The state governor, Darius Ishaku, disclosed this in Jalingo, the state capital, on Friday while inspecting a 100 bed isolation center. 

He said, “At the moment, all positive COVID-19 patients have been declared negative except for the 88 almajris, whose result are being expected.”

The governor decried lack of ventilators and testing kits in the state but assured residents of his commitments to establish three testing centers.

Meanwhile, sunrisebulletin.com had earlier reported that Oyo state government has discharged 11 (3 female and 8 male) COVID-19 patients on Friday from Olodo Infectious Disease Centre, Ibadan, after testing negative twice.

Prof Alonge, the coordinator of Oyo state isolation centres in his brief remark shortly after discharging the patients stated that the number was the highest single discharge in the state adding that there are still 32 more patients in the medical facility who he said are in stable condition and responding well to treatment.
