The executive governor of Oyo state, Engr Seyi Makinde has sworn in 68 local government caretaker chairmen and Administrators of Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), a total number comprising of 35 local government areas and 33 LCDAs.
Governor Makinde charged all chairmen and Administrators to see their new roles are call to serve humanity adding that temptations will come but they must show and prove the qualities that made them worthy of their new status.
Governor Makinde added that they should be fair and transparent in their administration and should endeavor to always place the common good of the people above all personal interests so that the people can continue to enjoy dividends of democracy at the grassroots.
He added that the new chairmen should uphold the four pillars of the present administration towards economic growth of the state.
