BOMBSHELL! You Are Shameless And Too Desperate! AKT Blasts Oyo APC For Unguarded Remarks Over Iwo Road Project

Honorable Olajide Akintunde of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) representing Lagelu state constituency at the present Oyo state house of assembly, has blasted the Oyo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its show of sheer desperation and deceits to appear like a party with the interest of the masses at heart before the unsuspecting members of the public adding that APC government in the last eight years in the history of Oyo state was described as a curse rather than a blessing, reason for its total rejection at the poll by the people of Oyo state at the 2019 general elections.
AKT as he is fondly called while reacting to another comment credited to the state chapter of the APC where the opposition party allegedly castigated the present PDP government under governor Seyi Makinde as being popular for talking rather than actions stated that the era of playing politics with human lives and the economy of the state is long gone noting that the importance of Iwo Road interchange to the overall economy of Oyo state can not be overemphasized as it is the only road connecting the southwest to all other parts of Nigeria from Lagos.
The PDP lawmaker who doubles as the party whip and the chairman house committee on commerce and cooperatives at the house of assembly noted with rude shock how a party with a deceptive change mantra could be so shameless to the point of deliberately staying out of tune with realities in the name of partisan politics noting that even the military regime in the history of Oyo state was adjudged far better and commendable in terms of improving quality of human lives and running a government with human face than the era of APC led administration between 2011- 2019 which according to him was more draconian and oppressive under a democratic setting.
The lawmaker added that the least APC could do in the best interest of everyone is to bury their heads in shame and be bold enough to tell the people of Oyo state what APC government in the state did with the multibillion naira it appropriated for a non existing five star hotel, another multibillion naira expended on its so call flower beautification of Ibadan with nothing to show for it as well as many other phantom projects that has no impact on the wellbeing of the masses which it embarked on primarily with the aim of embezzling public funds which the PDP may not start exposing for now in order not to further aggravate the anger of the people towards the APC in the state.
Hon. Akintunde advised the APC in Oyo state to be wary of unguarded comments and remarks that will further expose its desperation to return to power noting that new bliss and the renewed hope in the face of the masses cuts across party lines and describing Makinde as a gentleman to the core with zero blood of vindictiveness in him.
He charged the people of Oyo state to remain focused on helping the Seyi Makinde/PDP government attain its economic agender tailored towards economic prosperity adding that PDP as the ruling party in the state will continue to strive hard towards improving on the quality of human lives across the state regardless of political affiliations.
